About the position

We need to strengthen our Operations department with a driven Junior System Specialist in our Stockholm office.

Our environment consists of Windows and Linux, such as Windows servers with IIS, MSSQL and 3rd party software. Linux system management mainly consists of CentOS and Red Hat (RHEL) Linux, running storage, databases and services (web, ftp, systems). Our work pace is high and we constantly try our best to succeed expectations. Our systems and architecture requires good skills in design patterns as well as good knowledge about availability, scalability and load balancing. The role will give room for your creative ideas and we welcome initiatives to improve our solutions.

This position includes an on-call duty every 4-6 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

Work with maintenance and monitoring of the Qbrick infrastructure, services and servers. This includes the design and implementation of new components in the operating environment.

Plan and configure new services and servers Support, problem solving, documentation and quality routines will also be part of your daily job.

The person we are looking for shall have the right technical education background as well as a few years’ experience from relevant technical field.

At least 1 year’s professional and relevant work experience, such as system administrator, support technician or similar.

Bachelors or Master’s Degree within a technical discipline and a proven interest in IT.

Possess IT skills that will help you in the day-to-day operations You must be a holder of a Swedish driving license (B).

Knowledge and experience from switch/network configuration (i.e. VLAN, trunks).

Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Ability to communicate at an understandable level in Swedish.

Good to have

Experience from working within a Windows/Linux environment is a plus.

Certification in relevant field/equipment/servers/software.
